In order to both address the needs of Fellowship and Development within India and to gather updated information on Fellows, the objective is to gather in-depth information from select 30 Indian Fellows on the strategy, growth and impact of their work using a standard format (Fellow Update Form).  The project will yield valuable up-to-date information on Fellows and help Ashoka reconnect with Fellows who are less in touch.  After conducting interviews with Fellows, we are now analyzing Fellow information and materials in order to produce the actual consolidated updated information as well as compile and review Fellow feedback and suggestions for Ashoka.   

The Methodology

• Venture and Development staff identified 30 Fellows to be interviewed – particularly reaching out to those who were elected many years ago and have lost touch with Ashoka.
• Reach out to Fellows and arrange for meetings in person when possible and over the telephone when necessary.
• Collect, organize and digest the information and materials from Fellow interactions. 
• Produce a document with updated information for each Fellow.
• Compile and review Fellow feedback and suggestions for Ashoka.
